En-ROADS is a transparent, freely-available policy simulation model that provides policymakers, educators, businesses, the media, and the public with the ability to explore, for themselves, the likely consequences of energy, economic growth, land use, and other policies and uncertainties, with the goal of improving their understanding.
Climate Career Evening 2023
We happily invite all students to an evening presenting a variety of different possible careers with education in climate sciences.
The event will happen on May the Force from 17:00 - 20:30. We will start with every speaker quickly introducing themselves and telling, what they do. Then everybody is invited to start personal talks with the speakers.
Annual General Assembly
Our yearly general assembly happens on the 19th of October at 6 pm in the rooms of the AKI, Alpeneggstrasse 5 (around the corner from ExWi). We'll provide for food and also some drinks but you're welcome to bring something as well. If you're attending please fill out the form to let us know what we need to bring in advance.
This evening can mark the beginning of your joining the student council. At this event, the new board of the council will be elected and we hope you want to be part of it!
Culinary Culture Evening
We would like you all to bring about the most interesting cuisine your home country has to offer. Be it some rather regional dish or something that would be considered a national staple. All of them are welcome to the table to make as rich of a meal as possible. The more the better.
The date is the 27th of April in the AKI at Alpeneggstraße 5 near the ExWi-building. We hope to see all of you there!
Mountain Weekend 2022
Before the spring semester really starts in 2022, we organised a mountain weekend. From the 25. to 27. of February, just after the exams are over, we head to Gstaad for a weekend of (hopefully) snow in the mountains. While the group rooms we booked in the youth hostel are already full, you can easily join us by booking a bed on your own.
CSSC Annual Fondue
Every year before Christmas the CSSC organizes a fondue evening. The event is usually well attended and a great opportunity for all students and PHDs to celebrate the end of the semester together. - more details to come.
CSSC City Walk
We'd like to invite you all to join us on our hike to explore Bern and its surroundings.
On the first of October we will start at 11 am from the Große Schanze. Then at noon at the valley station of the Gurtenbahn, people can join us for whom 11 am is too early.
Afterwards we will climb the Gurten to enjoy the picnic we brought with us with a beautiful view.
Climate Hike
Last semester's Climate hike took place on the 12/10. We went to Oeschingensee.

Climate Career Evening SS 19
We would like to invite you to this years Climate Career Evening and apero.
There will be speakers from the public and private sector, as well as academia, presenting possible career paths after studying Climate Sciences. The apero gives a unique possibility for networking with professionals but also meeting your fellow students.
Ski Trip
To start the the spring semester 2019 some of us went on a ski trip in the Jungfrau region. It was a fun day and we are looking forward to the next one!

CSSC Hike AS 18
The CSSC hike for the Autumn semester 2018 led us through the Jura mountains from Chaumont to the Chasseral Peak. We were happy to see many of you!
Climate-YB
Young Boys Bern plays against GC Zürich on 11 March 2018! Climate students will have a chance to get the tickets for only 12 CHF and get some free beers before the match.
Studigarten
Urban ecologists! The Uni-gardening pilot project is now moving towards actual development! Should you wish to get your hands dirty, the weekly garden meeting will be held every Monday 18:15 at the back of the OCCR at Falkenplatz 16. Pastinaken anyone?
